A Letter to Our Customers:
Over the past decades, society has been pillaging natural resources at a rate that is quite frightening. We have forced millions of animals into confinement, monocropped the land, and have destroyed our bodies with some of the foods we eat. Why would we do this to ourselves and our planet?
For a society to thrive economically, there must be continued growth. Yet the growth of the population and economic growth, tied with the desire for more convenience, higher yields, and more consumption, means we are leaving a swath of wreckage in our wake.
I believe that, as a society, we have become so obsessed with wealth that we have lost sight of what truly matters – relentlessly doing the right thing. What does doing the right thing mean to us at Teton Waters Ranch?
- We align ourselves with smaller farmers and ranchers, who are stewards of the land and of their animals. They do this work out of love for their profession and don’t cut corners for higher corporate profits.
- All animals are treated humanely for the entirety of their lives, and all partners have a third-party certification for the humane treatment of animals.
- We only purchase from regenerative farms and ranches that implement intensive rotational grazing, which has been proven to remove carbon from the atmosphere and put it back into the soil, where it belongs.
- Our cattle are always 100% Grass-Fed on open pastures for the entirety of their lives, they never spend a day in a feedlot, never given added hormones, never treated with antibiotics, and never fed animal by-products.
- We add the fewest ingredients into our products as possible to ensure that families are eating the highest nutrition.
- We treat every partner with complete transparency and respect, and if something is not right, then we make it right.
By doing the right thing every single day, we know we have products that are better for the animal, better for the planet, and better for the health of our customers. And we don’t believe eating better should be a luxury. Clean, honest ingredients and nutrient-dense protein should be accessible to everyone. We know that the food budgets of families everywhere are being squeezed at the grocery store—so one of our goals at Teton is to help families make better choices around food and to help save them money.
Simple living isn’t about sacrifice. It’s about slowing down, paying attention, and reconnecting with values that last. When we simplify—when we prioritize quality over quantity—we begin to see real improvements in our personal health and the health of the world around us.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
